Cedar wardrobe hanger

Panels of solid atlas cedar left unfinished.These were designed to be hung in the wardrobe or kept in drawers where the intense cedar aroma acts as a deterent to moths and adds a sweet cedar perfume to an enclosed space. I brought this wood back with me from the Cevennes in southern France where it had been naturalized on the local mountainside after a local farmer returned with a cone from the Atlas mountains of northern Africa. We had cut the tree for the farmer in the small sawmill where I worked and I recuperated the off-cuts left from the large beam the farmer wanted for a new barn. 250mm x 100mm x 8mm
