The kitchen cabinets line two walls of the room, with birch ply and laminate cabinets faced with painted MDF panels with handle pull recesses which are mounted with specially made solid elm handles to create the dominant feature of the kitchen, alongside the worktops in solid elm.

The solid elm worktop turns up to the ceiling marking the end of the worktop and creating the end space for the fridge, microwave and broom cupboard. The wall cabinets have concealed lighting below.The floor is of painted solid wood.

The far corner of the kitchen houses the existing boiler that has been housed along with the pipework in the slightly longer cabinet .

This image shows the under cabinet lighting in the wall cabinets as well as the integrated extractor unit which is mounted beneath extra storage space.The warmth of the solid elm worktop and handles offset by the plain painted background create a linear feel to what is quite a compact space.
